The Music Studio Instructor is responsible to address the development and social needs of the Music Resource Center (MRC) members while engaging them in developing appreciation for music and improving their skills.
Salary Range : $18 - $20 / Hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Instruct and lead classes, workshops, or private lessons in collaboration with Program Director and under the supervision of the Director of Operations. These will likely occur at the Music Resource Center (MRC), but can also be off-site Outreach instruction.
- Assist with daily operations of MRC, including but not limited to facility upkeep and food service / snack management.
- Prepare and know instructional materials and curriculum.
- Keep accurate attendance and membership records.
- Administer program evaluations.
- Assist with MRC external presence on social media and website platforms.
- Understand the needs and goals of participants and provide them with a positive, enjoyable environment in which to achieve their goals.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in the mission and participate in events that advance the cause of the MRC including, but not limited to, fundraising efforts, prospective member tours, and community outreach events.
