The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Day Camp Counselor to join our team!

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
As a Day Camp Counselor, you will directly supervise campers and assist with planning and implementing daily camp activities for a group of 7-10 campers, including small and large group activities designed to engage campers and create a fun and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, lead and assist group activities, transitions, time fillers, and songs.
- Assist in specialty camps.
- Complete group head counts.
- Provide parent communication through parent communication cards.
- Complete accident and incident reports when needed.
- Cleaning and sanitation protocols will be required of all staff.
- Staff will be responsible for frequent touchpoint cleaning and sanitizing in specific areas.
Qualifications :
Wage : $16.66 to $18.28 per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours : Full-Time, Seasonal
Dates of Employment : June 12th - August 31st
Location : YMCA Camp Lake Helena, Port Orchard, WA
