The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a Water Aerobics Instructor to join our team!

As a Water Aerobics Instructor , you are responsible for creating a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with their certification and YMCA policies and procedures. Individuals in this role instruct water aerobics implementing professional standards and fitness guidelines : flexibility, strength, endurance, and cardiovascular conditioning.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and instruct water fitness classes in accordance with YMCA guidelines.
- Instruct water fitness classes for a variety of skill levels.
- Prepare lesson plans.
- Give clear directions, cues, and demonstrations.
- Create a safe and positive atmosphere.
- Promote member safety and engagement.
- Help others improve flexibility, strength, endurance, and cardiovascular conditioning.

Wage : $18.67 to $20.67 per hour, depending on experience
Hours : Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week
Location : Mel Korum Family YMCA - Puyallup, WA
