Bus Drivers are responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate manner, setting an example for children, parents and co-workers by reflecting the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Uphold the mission of the YMCA, and demonstrate behaviors that reflect a determined, nurturing, genuine, hopeful, and welcoming nature.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:
- Active CDL (preferred)
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely drive a bus for short/long periods of time
- Ability to respond to emergency situations
- Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the activity
- Noise level – HIGH
- Ability to see
- Ability to hear
- Ability to project voice across a distance in normal and loud situations
STATUS: Part Time, Non-exempt
STARTING SALARY: $12.50/hr
Certification Requirements (Any)
Active CDL (preferred)
Valid drivers license
