POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
WE’RE LOOKING FOR ENERGETIC, FUN-LOVING, AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE READY TO BRING THE MAGIC OF CAMP TO LIFE!
- MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD (PREFERRED)
- PASSIONATE ABOUT THE Y’S MISSION AND COMMITTED TO OUR CORE VALUES: CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT, AND RESPONSIBILITY
- A TEAM PLAYER WITH A CAN-DO ATTITUDE AND A BIG HEART FOR KIDS
- ENGAGING LEADER WHO CAN LEAD SONGS, GAMES, AND GROUP ACTIVITIES WITH CONFIDENCE
- GREAT COMMUNICATOR (BOTH VERBAL AND WRITTEN) WHO CAN CONNECT WITH CAMPERS, PARENTS, AND STAFF
- PREVIOUS CAMP OR YOUTH EXPERIENCE? AWESOME! BUT IF YOU’VE GOT THE ENTHUSIASM, WE CAN TRAIN THE REST!
- CAPABLE OF SUPERVISING UP TO 15 CAMPERS WHILE MAKING SAFETY AND FUN THE TOP PRIORITIES
- ABLE TO FOLLOW AND ENFORCE ALL SAFETY PROCEDURES LIKE A PRO
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
YOU’LL BE ACTIVE, ON YOUR FEET, AND MOVING ALL SUMMER LONG! EXPECT TO:
- LIFT UP TO 50 LBS (CAMP SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, OR AN ENTHUSIASTIC CAMPER WHO JUST WANTS A PIGGYBACK RIDE!)
- WALK, RUN, JUMP, KNEEL, CLIMB, AND PLAY THROUGHOUT THE DAY
- BE OUTDOORS FOR MOST OF THE DAY (SO GET READY FOR SOME SUNSHINE AND FRESH AIR!)
- TOLERATE HEAT AND HUMIDITY BECAUSE SUMMER CAMP DOESN’T HAPPEN IN AIR CONDITIONING!

CAMP IS A PLACE OF HIGH ENERGY, EXCITEMENT, AND ADVENTURE! YOU CAN EXPECT:
