POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- To carry out the custodial responsibilities in maintaining buildings.
- To assist in the daily housekeeping at the Branch.
- Minimal direction and supervision are necessary for this position, must be a self-starter!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building/Grounds litter as needed (inside and outside)
- Clean Mirrors/Windows/Glass
- Trash Management (emptied and wipe containers)
- Vacuum All Carpet Areas as Needed
- Toilet/Urinal/Sink Disinfect and Clean throughout the day and as needed
- Refill and Clean Dispensers (soaps, sanitizer, paper towels, and toilet paper, etc.)
- Showers Disinfect and Clean throughout the day and as needed
- Water Fountains Disinfect and Clean
- Furniture/Bleachers/Step Stools Disinfect and Clean
- Dusting All Horizontal and Vertical surfaces
- Dust Mop / Wet Mop (maintain clean flooring surfaces during day)
- Report any facility issues through supervisor
- Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with members, donors and volunteers.
- Assist in all other duties that pertain to Janitorial

The Custodial position plays a critical role in the overall success of the organization. It does this by providing one of the essential tools required in achieving the goals of the association; a safe, clean, enjoyable environment.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in custodial work
- Must have good communication skills, and the ability to follow directions.
- Able to use technology to report facility issues and time management.
