The Great Plains YMCA Family Resource Center Program Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic planning of the Family Resource Center. This role includes developing, implementing, and evaluating programs designed to support families in the community, ensuring they align with the Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening and Support mission and values. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential in this role to effectively support and empower families
This position will report to the Executive Director of the Great Plains Family YMCA. The position is based out of the Great Plains Family YMCA but will be expected to spend the majority of their time in the field working directly with families and managing community partnerships.

Essential Functions
Program Implementation:
- Facilitate workshops, provide resources, and foster a welcoming environment for all families, promoting inclusivity and diversity.
- Meeting with families one on one when needed.
- Ensure consistency and quality in program delivery.
- Develop strategies for recruiting families into the program, collaborating with community organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to enhance participant engagement and retention.
- Establish metrics for assessing program effectiveness and participant outcomes.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the impact of the program, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to internal departments for funding, summarizing program activities, achievements, and challenges.
- Proficient in Microsoft office.
- Manage the program budget, allocating resources effectively to ensure the success of the grant.
- Collaborate with local businesses, educational institutions, and community organizations to establish partnerships that enhance program effectiveness.
- Director will be required to attend virtual and in-person trainings and meetings as requested by YMCA Executive Director and Potts Family Foundation. Training, workshops and educational events may include out of town travel, overnight, evening or weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in program development and management, preferably with a focus on family resources.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with families and build positive relationships.
- Knowledge of resources.
- Familiarity with Familiarity with safety net service system navigation and qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including educators, employers, and community leaders.
- Must become CPR/First aid/Oxygen certified offered by the YMCA.
