SALARY RANGE: $15.87 - $19.83/HR
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for business office functions including accounts receivable/payable, including third party payment application, collections, participant registration and updates for programming, DHS (Department of Human Services) and ACA (American Camping Association) staff hiring requirements and other functions as assigned that help ensure the efficient back-office operations. The Business Manager will also assist with customer service, communications and program sales.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Extensive fiscal management and systems knowledge, including collections and third-party payment application.
- Experience and proven skills in understanding complex problem-solving.
- Previous experience in office management/business management. Prefer at least 2 years of previous bookkeeping experience.
- Previous experience working within or reporting on programs, as well as budget reports.
- Ability to process participant registrations and enrollment updates.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to organize and plan effectively and multi-task. Must be deadline driven and have the ability to meet deadlines and budget parameters.
- Ability to use computer, business equipment and required software in the performance of duties. Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word and Excel proficiency required. Prior experience with general ledger software required.
- Ability to communicate effectively including written reports, budget spreadsheets and proper phone etiquette are essential.
- Effectiveness in interpreting the Branch and Association purpose to the community and contributing to maintaining the YMCA in good standing with employees and the community.
- Serve as the human resources liaison for the branch, including the collections, tracking and follow up of staff paperwork, training records and provide the YMCA and youth development business office orientation to new staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- High school Diploma/GED Required.
- Associate's degree in accounting, business, administration or related field preferred.
- Relevant Specialized certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience relative to role.
- Prior data entry experience required.
- Experience with a variety of software systems preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of payroll and/or finance.
- Proficient at MS Office (especially Excel).
- Must be highly organized and pay attention to details.
- Must have high ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality.
