POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs the maintenance and improvement operations of facility and grounds, including preventative maintenance. This position may also be responsible for the cleanliness of locker rooms, bathrooms, lobbies, bleachers and hallways, as well as other assigned areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Plans and executes facility maintenance, including preventative maintenance.
- Works with director to ensure the proper operation of all mechanical systems.
- Completes repair work and projects in a timely manner.
- Works independently though advises management on maintenance issues when appropriate.
- Perform cleaning whenever needed to maintain the facility and its surroundings in a clean and respectable condition.
- Communicate with supervisor and other staff members any concerns and/or needs of the building and its equipment.
- Shovel and salt sidewalks and exits to maintain safe entrance and egress.
- Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record in accordance with the association’s driving standards.
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry and other maintenance related areas preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
- Sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.

Pay rate: $13.60 to $17.00 an hour
