As a Youth Program Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting the Site Coordinator in developing and implementing a high-quality after-school program. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the Site Coordinator to plan and lead engaging programs that align with our mission and values.
- Supervising and being actively involved with children assigned to your activity area, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Providing leadership for activities, including small and large group events, such as sign-in, circle time, community time, enrichment activities, asset development, games, and crafts.
- Promoting inclusion and equity among all participants, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Assisting in creating and planning special events, including parent- and family-oriented programs, and attending related events.
- Participating fully in monthly staff meetings, which may include recommended or mandatory training programs.
- Maintaining equipment and site appearance, including daily clean-up and scheduled site maintenance.
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks in accordance with federally funded child nutrition program requirements.
