The Prime Time Program Supervisor at YMCA of Greater Providence is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children while providing high-quality programs that foster positive interactions with kids and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate attendance records and sign-in/out sheets to ensure efficient program operations.
- Develop and implement proper release procedures, verifying identification before releasing children and informing parents about accountability systems used for supervision.
- Provide exceptional customer service to parents, responding promptly to inquiries and escalating serious matters to the Coordinator or Program Director as needed.
- Promote health and safety among Prime Time participants by cautioning them against unsafe practices and conditions, performing first aid when necessary, and reporting accidents with incident reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors, addressing any equipment or supply deficiencies to the Coordinator or Program Director.
- Establish effective communication with staff, promoting Character Development values such as caring, respect, responsibility, and honesty through regular meetings and events.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred; demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
