What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor - School Age Child Care (Goochland) position at YMCA of Greater Richmond?
The YMCA of Greater Richmond is currently seeking counselors for our school-age child care program in the Goochland area. As an employee at the YMCA, you get a free gym membership! Starting pay for this site is at $20 per hour.
Duties:
Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with a group of school age children and participating in group programs. We are seeking incumbents with availability for full days (7am-6pm) and for after school (2:15pm-6:15pm).
Qualifications:
- Applicants should have a minimum of six months of child care experience, preferably in a licensed facility.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum age is 18.
The following certifications are highly desirable but not needed:
- CPR/AED Certification appropriate to age group
- First Aid Certification
