What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard (Seasonal/ Summer) - Camp Thunderbird YMCA position at YMCA of Greater Richmond?
The Camp Thunderbird YMCA is seeking part time enthusiastic community members to help save lives and ensure the safety of patrons at our pool this summer! Looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards (we will certify you if you qualify)! This is a part time, seasonal position (summer) which starts at $14.00 per hour. Looking for candidates who can work over the summer months up to 40 hours per week!
DUTIES for Lifeguards
The qualified candidate will be responsible for the safety of the members and program participants.
QUALIFICATIONS For Lifeguards
Candidates must be at least 15 years old and have current CPR, AED, First Aid and either American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification. Oxygen Administration (O2) is preferred but not required. The Y will train interested candidates who meet basic swim requirements if not already certified!
