About the Role:
This is a crucial position at the YMCA of Greater Spartanburg, where you will provide safe and reliable transportation to and from program sites. As a Childcare Shuttle Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating a positive atmosphere while transporting children.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive a 15-passenger bus safely according to established guidelines and regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip checks each day, documenting information and maintaining a clean bus environment.
- Promote safety at all times, ensure first aid supplies are stocked, and enforce bus rules.
- Foster friendly relationships with staff, volunteers, parents, and children.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of work experience as a bus driver is preferred.
- Hold an appropriate class license.
- Familiarity with commercial passenger vehicle guidelines.
