About the Role
As a Site Coordinator, you will lead our Before-and-Afterschool Programs, ensuring a safe, engaging, and educational experience for every participant. This is your chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community while developing your leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement a weekly program of activities aligned with YMCA Curriculum.
- Supervise and guide staff, including daily support and performance evaluations.
- Manage all aspects of child safety, behavior, and engagement.
- Build positive relationships with parents, staff, school faculty, and principals.
- Maintain and organize all equipment, supplies, and facilities.
- Track attendance, maintain records, and manage site budgets effectively.
- Promote and market YMCA programs, encouraging family participation.
- Ensure compliance with YMCA standards, state licensing, and agency requirements.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of mandatory child care training MODs.
- You need to meet at least one of the following qualifications: 6 early childhood credits from an accredited university OR CDA ( Staff Credentials)
- Having Director Credentials is an added benefit
- At least 1 year of experience in a before or after school setting.
- Current First Aid, CPR & AED certifications.
