Responsibilities
- Communicates with Manager upon arrival to receive any special instructions or information.
- Upon arrival, fill requisitions from Outlets to be delivered as early as possible. Informs the Manager immediately of missing items, shortages or problems.
- Responsible for the receiving of any items that are delivered to the hotel. The Manager will dictate where these items are to be stored or to what outlet they are to be delivered.
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 50 pounds, sometimes overhead. Must be able to stand and walk for several hours.
- Responsible for the storage of all items delivered on a daily basis. Uses the F.I.F.O. system with proper labels and dates. Adheres to HACCP standards.
- On a daily basis, must be on hand to help receive and deliver all packages i.e. Fed Ex, Ground & Express and UPS, Frequent delivers of other shipping lines are possible as well.
- Directly responsible for the organization and cleanliness of all storage areas; this is to include all walk in coolers, freezers, the beverage room, the cage, the paper room and the dry storage room.
- All storage areas are to be dismantled and detail cleaned on a rotating monthly basis as directed by the Manager.
- Informs the Manager of any problems or issues so that they can be resolved quickly.
- Responsible for the support of all other hotel personnel as a team and will help others as directed.
- All storage areas and back dock are to be clean and organized by the end of each shift; all floors swept and mopped and all shelves clean and organized. All cardboard and trash is to be disposed of properly and all equipment to be stored properly.
