The Sports Complex Coordinator will manage and develop programs for our state-of-the-art outdoor sports complex, featuring a turfed futsal field and an airnasium with three pickleball courts. This role will develop inclusive and engaging sports programs, and wellness opportunities, manage facility operations, and foster strong community relationships that align with the YMCA’s mission to promote healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility.

Responsibilities
Program Development and Coordination
- Design and implement inclusive sports, wellness and fitness programs tailored to various age groups, including futsal, pickleball, summer sports camps, and recreational activities
- Launch and develop futsal leagues for teens and adults.
- Organize year-round sports leagues, futsal tournaments, and special events for seniors, adults, young adults, and teens.
- Ensure flexible scheduling to accommodate diverse participant needs, including evenings and weekends.
Community Engagement and Outreach
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment that encourages participation from all demographics, including underserved populations.
- Conduct community outreach to engage members and promote programs.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses and organizations to secure sponsorships and funding
- Must be able to communicate effectively with program participants and exchange accurate and appropriate directions.
Participant Support and Education
- Provide personalized guidance and coaching to participants, enhancing their experience and helping them achieve their fitness and mental health goals.
- Promote skill-building, teamwork, and healthy habits through structured programming.
Facility and Event Management
- Oversee the daily operations and scheduling of the futsal field and airnasium to ensure smooth facility utilization.
- Coordinate and manage event logistics to ensure smooth operations and high-quality participant experiences.
- Monitor and evaluate program success through surveys, participation rates, and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards for all facilities and activities.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in sports programming, event coordination, or recreation management.
- Knowledge of futsal, pickleball, and sports league organization.
- Proficiency with scheduling and program management software.
- Ability to analyze and respond to program data and feedback.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse age groups and create inclusive programs.
- Passion for promoting health, wellness, and community engagement.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
