Ensure the safety of all members, program participants, and patrons
Be a water safety professional through monitoring aquatic facilities, preventing and responding to emergencies, and executing aquatic policies and procedures
Keep your skills fresh through Y trainings and drills
Communicate effectively with students and families in a patient, friendly manner
Show you are a positive role model
How do I qualify?
Must be 16 or older
Must be currently certified in YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
Obtain YMCA certification within 6 months
Must be currently certified in CPR PRO / AED, First Aid, O2
Must have visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and physical ability to act swiftly in emergency situations
Must have ability to observe participant activities adequately, to enforce safety regulations and to apply appropriate policies and procedures
Job Type : Part-time
Pay : $15.50-$19 per hour
Expected hours : 10-15 per week

Note : All Aquatics team members must be at least 16 years old and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Aquatics employees are eligible for random drug screen testing.
