Member Services Representative - Great Shift and Free Employee Membership
YMCA Member Services Representative works at the front desk Welcome Center to provide support to the Member Services Department in meeting the needs of our members, team members and visitors. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate our core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility is our main mission at the YMCA.
Experience:
- Experience working with computers.
- Experience working in an customer services, office setting or scheduling (preferred).
Education:
- The MSR must have or be in pursuit of obtaining a High School Diploma or have a High School diploma.
Abilities:
- General computer knowledge and perform administrative tasks
- Processing transactions and handling money
- Assess and respond to the needs of members and staff
- Have consistent attendance and punctuality
- Maintain professionalism in times of stress
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have fine motor skills for typing, near visual acuity for screen viewing, and potential for prolonged sitting or standing
- Must be able to reach, kneel and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and keyboard.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to hear, talk communicate effectively in verbal and written form..
