Position Summary:
The Recruitment and Enrollment Specialist (Municipals & Outward Districts) is responsible for leading recruitment efforts for employees in the Before & After School Childcare and Camp Programs, as well as overseeing enrollment targets for children in all related programs. This position plays a key role in ensuring that staffing needs are met while also driving growth in program participation. This role collaborates with Human Resources for sourcing candidates and Marketing for enrollment efforts. This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Employee Recruitment & Staffing
- Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract and retain qualified candidates for Before & After School and Camp programs.
- Support Human Resources in sourcing candidates, ensuring a strong pipeline of potential hires.
- Conduct outreach initiatives, career fairs, and partnership development with educational institutions and community organizations to build a talent pipeline.
- Works closely with school partners and school principals to build relationships and have a balanced recruitment approach to internal school employees and external school employees.
- Monitor staffing levels and work with program directors to proactively address hiring needs.
- Maintain applicant tracking records and analyze recruitment metrics to improve sourcing strategies.
Program Enrollment & Growth
- Establish and oversee enrollment goals for Before & After School and Camp programs, ensuring optimal participation levels.
- Works closely with childcare leadership and site leadership to drive an on the ground strategy for enrollment, in addition, to working with school partners communications teams.
- Work closely with Marketing to develop and execute promotional campaigns, outreach strategies, and community engagement initiatives to drive enrollment.
- Monitor enrollment trends and develop strategic plans to address barriers to participation.
- Coordinate open houses, parent information sessions, and outreach events to promote program awareness.
- Maintain accurate enrollment data and reports to track progress toward participation goals.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with Human Resources, Marketing, and Program Directors to align recruitment and enrollment strategies with organizational objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison to HR and recruitment and enrollment initiatives, ensuring clear communication and execution of strategies across departments.
- Develop strong relationships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to support both employee recruitment and child enrollment.
- All other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field(or Equivalent Experience).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, enrollment, marketing, or program management.
- Proven experience in talent sourcing, enrollment growth strategies, and community outreach.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and potential candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant/enrollment tracking systems.
Certifications & Requirements:
- Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by Tennessee state regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel locally as needed for recruitment and enrollment activities.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment and enrollment events.
- This position is a position within the childcare team and will be called into work in inclement weather or unusual circumstances deemed necessary by the association leadership.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and conduct on-site visits, which may require walking or standing for extended periods.

Pay range: $45,000 - $55,000
