NATURE AND SCOPE :
The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Communications to oversee internal and external communications and public relations efforts. This role, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, is responsible for developing and implementing an integrated strategic communications plan to advance the organization's brand identity and ensure messaging is consistent, engaging, and effectively promotes the YMCA’s brand, programming, and services.
The VP of Communications and her / his team will lead efforts to achieve the Y’s goal in becoming one of the most relevant community impact organizations in metro Atlanta.
RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to) :
- Set strategic direction on the development and implementation of an integrated strategic communications plan to advance the organization's brand identity.
- Strong collaboration with VP Marketing on Communications support as part of omni-channel strategy for revenue-generating campaigns and promotions.
