Summer Camp Group Leader

ensuring campers have a fun-filled and enriching summer camp experience while maintaining their safety 
and well-being.

Position Overview: As a Summer Camp Group Leader, you will:
• Ensure campers are divided into age-appropriate groups and provided with a safe, engaging, and 
bully-free environment.
• Implement daily camp activities and encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity.
• Maintain accurate daily counts of children and adhere to field trip procedures.
• Serve as a positive role model for youth by demonstrating respect, loyalty, patience, integrity, 
courtesy, and maturity.
• Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Must meet state licensing standards with the Texas Department of Safety and Health Services or 
Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
• Minimum age: 18 years; High School Degree/G.E.D. or higher education.
• Previous childcare experience preferred but not required.
• The ability to work outdoors for most of the day lead activities, including swimming days.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, carry at least 30 pounds, and transition from sitting 
to standing with ease.
