The YMCA is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Track Meet Director to oversee all aspects of our Annual Community Track Meet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee event planning, coordination, and execution of the Annual Community Track Meet.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, volunteers, and community members.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively with strong organizational and planning skills.
Requirements:
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
- Self-starter with a commitment to youth and family engagement.
- Dependable transportation to assist with both on-site and off-site sports programs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure smooth coordination and follow-thru with branch staff, participants, volunteers, and community members.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Completion of required training within the first 30 days, including First Aid/CPR, Child Abuse Prevention, Sexual Harassment, and New Staff Orientation.
