Are you a visionary leader with a passion for camping, youth development, and community building? The YMCA is seeking a dynamic Executive Director of Camping Services to oversee three resident camp locations , YMCA Camp Whittle (Fawnskin, CA), YMCA Camp Marcil at Round Meadow (Angelus Oaks, CA), and YMCA Camp High Sierra (Mammoth, CA). This high-impact role focuses on strategic leadership, regulatory compliance, board development, and fundraising to ensure the long-term success of our camping services. 🌲🏕 ️
What You'll Do :
- Oversee Operations : Lead the strategic planning, program delivery, and operational excellence across three resident camp locations. Provide leadership and oversight of capital renovation projects at YMCA Camp Whittle.
- Board Development : Recruit and work closely with the volunteer board of directors to build strong governance, drive mission alignment, and engage in strategic decision-making.
- Fundraising Leadership : Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies for both Annual and Capital Campaigns, including cultivating donor relationships, securing major gifts, and leading capital campaigns.
- Team Leadership : Inspire and mentor a team of directors, ensuring the camps deliver safe, high-quality experiences that align with the YMCA's values.
- Community Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders to advance the mission of the YMCA.
