We're seeking dedicated individuals eager to learn and grow, committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all members and guests.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead the Fun: Bring your A-game and teach one of our variety of group exercise classes like HIIT, Yoga, Spin, Dance and more!
- Motivate & Inspire: Cheer on our members, help them crush their fitness goals, and create an uplifting vibe in every class.
- Create a Welcoming Environment: At the YMCA, everyone is welcome! Make sure your classes are inclusive and fun for all fitness levels.
- Safety First: Keep an eye on participants' form, provide modifications as needed, and make sure everyone stays safe and happy during workouts.
Requirements:
- You love exercise and know how to share that passion with others!
- You have a Foundations of YMCA Group Exercise, equivalent ACE, AFAA, or ACSM Health Fitness Instructor Certification, or other qualified Group Fitness Certification (or you're working on it-let's chat!).
- You have a current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association or ASHI.
