Position Description
Under the supervision of the Operations Executive Director, t he Youth Music Instructor will prepare and lead music lessons for youth ages 5-12, while maintaining a safe and inclusive atmosphere where youth can learn how to express themselves through music and build relationships with other participants. This position requires you to have experience teaching and leading children, and the ability to develop or implement classes that are age appropriate.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience teaching music to children.
- Strong character values (respect, responsibility, honesty, caring); strong communication skills; emotional maturity
