Position : Gymnastics Coach Pay Rate : $18.00-$24.00
Join our team at YMCA Ayrlawn Program Center in Bethesda, Maryland as a gymnastics coach working with youth in our program! We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about teaching gymnastics and helping others develop their skills.
Some of the exciting things you will do as a Gymnastics Coach :
- Assists in oversight of all the gymnastic program activities, communicating with families and ensuring all equipment and supplies are available
- Provides gymnastics instruction / or coach to children and / or adults under the direct supervision of the Gymnastics Director, following the philosophy and goals of the YMCA Gymnastics programs
- Develop and implement age-appropriate gymnastics lessons and programs for youth participants
- Provide instruction and guidance in gymnastics skills and techniques
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during gymnastics classes
- Motivate and encourage participants to reach their full potential in gymnastics
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a positive and inclusive gymnastics environment
- Establishes structure and routines for children setting boundaries and behavior guidelines
- Attends parent / child events as required.
- Effectively communicates with parents throughout the program year
