Are you ready to dive into a leadership role where you can make a big splash in your community? The YMCA of Middle TN is looking for an **Aquatics Coordinator** to lead our aquatic programming, build a strong team, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for all.
**What You’ll Do:**
- Plan, organize, and oversee all aquatic programs.
- Hire, train, and motivate aquatics staff.
- Manage pool operations, including chemical testing and maintenance.
- Build relationships with members and ensure an exceptional experience.
**What You’ll Bring:**
Be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
1,000 hours of aquatic experience, including 2 years of teaching aquatic programs
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with pool operations (Certified Pool Operator certification preferred)
**Certifications You’ll Need (we’ll help!):**
- Lifeguard and Instructor certifications before your first shift
- Certified Pool Operator/Lifeguard Management (within 6 months)
- Mental Health First Aid USA (within 6 months)
