Join Our Summer Crew as a Lead Day Camp Counselor!
Hey there, adventure enthusiast! If you’re all about inspiring kids, leading fun outdoor activities, and making a difference, this is the gig for you. As a Lead Day Camp Counselor at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, you’ll guide campers through action-packed days while stepping up as a leader when needed. We’re talking swimming, games, campfire songs, and memories that last a lifetime!
Pay: Starts at $14/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Seasonal)
Location: YMCA of Middle Tennessee
What We’re Looking For:
- Age: 18 or older
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience: Previous experience or coursework in childcare or recreation preferred
- Certifications: New Hire Orientation (before your first shift)
- CPR Pro, First Aid, and AED (within 30 days of hire)

- Ability to lead and motivate both campers and fellow counselors
