The YMCA of Middletown is looking for an experienced Universal Pre-K teaching assistant. The teaching assistant will perform duties and responsibilities that are assigned by the lead UPK teacher. The Assistant will adhere to all policies and procedures, expected of both the YMCA and the school district assigned to. The position operates on a school calendar Sept-June., 8:00am-3:00pm, with the opportunity to work our summer camp during the months of July/August.
Qualifications: Experience working with preschool age children. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 hours of college credit OR a CDA certificate.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
