Job Description – Child Watch Attendant (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and engaged supervision to children while parents are on-site.
- Foster a positive, enjoyable atmosphere that encourages kids to return.
- Promote the YMCA’s core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
- Lead and participate in age-appropriate activities to keep children active and engaged.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness at all times.
- Attend required staff meetings and ongoing training sessions.
- Follow all YMCA policies and procedures, including protocols for medical or disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, and emergency responses.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
