Overview
Summer camp is fun; that's a fact! As a staff member at our YMCA of Northern Colorado Day Camps, you'll participate in games, crafts, archery, nature discovery, team-building, and so much more! We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals who want to lead children through exciting activities and create an unforgettable summer camp experience. As a Program Leader at our day camp, you'll help foster a positive environment where campers engage in creative play, explore new activities, and develop valuable life skills. ● Training: Required training will take place from June 2-7, 2025.● No Weekends: Enjoy your weekends free!● Seasonal Position: June 9 through August 22, with opportunities to extend into school year programs (before and after school care).

Responsibilities
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Previous experience working with children in a recreational, educational, or leadership role is preferred.
- Provide documentation of 480 hours of experience working directly with school-age children in such areas as Sunday school, Scouts, or sports.
- Become certified or supply documentation of current certification in CPR and First Aid (can be complete through the YMCA).
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable.
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
- Comfortable leading a variety of camp activities, including outdoor games, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises.
- Strong communication skills with both children and adults.
