We are seeking a qualified Swim Lesson Instructor to join our team at the Davie Family YMCA in Mocksville, NC. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about teaching swimming lessons to children and adults.
Responsibilities:
- Teach swimming lessons to children and adults in a safe and fun environment.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their swimming skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure seamless program delivery.
Requirements:
- At least 16 years of age.
- YMCA Swim Instructor certification, or equivalent (Achieve within 90 days).
- CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid certification, and Emergency Oxygen.
- Must be able to demonstrate swim instructor skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
