Description
Each weekday morning and some Sunday’s the bus driver, accompanied by at least one additional counselor, picks up campers from the local YMCA branches in Winston Salem and transports them to Camp Hanes for the day or week. In the afternoon, the bus driver, accompanied by at least one additional counselor, drops campers off back at the local YMCA branches in Winston Salem.
Typically, bus drivers spend three hours in the morning and afternoon (6 hours total) picking up and dropping off campers daily. There are also additional hours available throughout the summer based upon camp needs and driver availability. Bus drivers are also responsible for daily maintenance checks and fueling.
Schedule: Varied hours may be 5:30 – 8:30 am and 4:00-7:00 pm Monday-Friday AND/OR Sunday from 11:30am- 3:30 and Friday 11:30- 3:30.
Qualifications
Be at least 18 years old - Required
Have at least 6 months of driving experience - Required
Hold either a Class B or Class C commercial driver's license (CDL) - Required
Salary : $18
