Job Title: Custodial Worker (Weekend Evenings)
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Essential Functions:
Check entire facility and refill: Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, and Soap Dispensers- Empty Trash Bins
- Clean all Mirrors
- Wipe all Sinks and Faucets
- Clean toilets as needed
- Clean ALL glass – Including windows, mirrors, glass doors, etc.
- Operate floor scrubbing machine.
- Clean all stainless steel water fountains, kick plates, etc.
- Vacuum all door mats, and carpeted areas.
- Clean welcome desk area.
- Dust ledges and moppable floor services.
- Empty all exterior/interior, trash receptacles, and office trash containers.
- Maintain parking area and building exterior as needed.
- Create a nurturing and safe environment by reporting suspicious activity that may lead to child abuse or may violate the code of conduct. Keep supplies organized, maintain and clean the facility and care for equipment.
- Keep the entire facility clean and nice as needed.
- Performs other custodial duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old. Basic knowledge of cleaning and cleaning supplies. Must be able to read. CPR/AED/First-Aid preferred.

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds. May be required to stand for extended periods of time, stoop, squat, and stretch. Inside and outside work, physically demanding at times.
