What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desk Associate position at Ymca Of Pawtucket?
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the primary responsibilities of the Front Desk Associate will include assisting the families during drop of and pick up while supporting the YMCA Mission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collect Weekly payments from families
- Ensure all files are filled at the end of each shift
- Answer phones and assist callers or direct to appropriate person.
- Exercise the highest level of confidentiality and security with sensitive information.
- Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
- Assist Registration Coordinator with tasks as needed
- Monior Pro-Care attendance system during shift
- Ensure copy basket is empty at the end of each shift
- Greet each person that enters and exits the building

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with computer and Microsoft Office Software
- Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills
- Detail Oriented
- At least 18 years of age.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical ability and stamina to perform the duties as outlined above, including but not limited to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Ability to lift equipment, boxes and files.
