As the Fitness Experience Director, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing fitness programs that meet the needs of our diverse community while upholding the YMCA's values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. From managing a comprehensive group exercise schedule to overseeing personal training services, you will ensure every aspect of the fitness experience reflects the highest standards of quality, safety, and member engagement. You'll also play a pivotal role in building and mentoring a team of fitness professionals, including group exercise instructors, personal trainers, and volunteers, fostering a culture of excellence and proactive customer service.
Financial stewardship and strategic leadership are essential to this role. You will develop and manage department budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and revenue targets are exceeded. By staying informed on the latest fitness trends and leveraging data-driven decision-making, you'll continually enhance programming and drive innovation within mission and budget parameters. Your ability to collaborate closely with the Membership and Marketing Directors will ensure seamless communication of fitness schedules and programming, promoting active member participation.
