POSITION SUMMARY
Richmond YMCA is seeking Morning Care Program Leaders for Sutro Elementary School - 235 12th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94118
The Morning Care Program Leader provides meaningful and enriching opportunities for youth in YMCA programs that are offered at local elementary and middle schools. The Program Leader will help students develop and strengthen academic, physical, and social skills through tutoring and mentorship. Program Leaders will provide academic enrichment and tutoring in classroom groups of up to 20 students, as well as organize and provide outdoor recreational activities in the school yards. Individuals hired for this position will work under the supervision of the Program Site Coordinators and Directors, and will need to be flexible, willing to take initiative, be punctual, and able to make a commitment to work throughout the entire school year.
Program dates : must be able to work during the academic year, August 19, 2024 - June 4, 2025
Salary Range : $19.50 to $22 per hour
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age for elementary school programs
- Associate's degree or higher, or High School diploma / equivalent, plus any of following :
Completed 48 college units verified by transcript
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Salary : $20 - $22
