Job Summary
The YMCA of Silicon Valley seeks a skilled and enthusiastic Trip Leader to join our team. As a Trip Leader, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional camper experience by leading and guiding a group of 12 teen campers in a variety of outdoor activities and travel programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise groups of campers on outdoor trips and adventures
- Develop and implement engaging program activities that promote teamwork, leadership, and character development
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for campers and staff
- Collaborate with the Tripping Director to plan and execute trip itineraries
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of experience working with youth in a camp or outdoor setting
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Lifeguard certification (can be obtained upon hire)
