The Food Service Team Member is a key part of the camp experience, ensuring campers and staff enjoy nutritious, delicious meals in a safe, clean environment. This role requires teamwork, efficiency, and a commitment to health and safety standards while creating meals that fuel happy campers. Our food service team members serve as seasonal team members May - August between 20-39hrs a week Sunday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
Meal Preparation and Service:
- Assist in preparing and serving meals according to the camp’s menu and dietary requirements.
- Ensure meals are appealing, nutritious, and served on time for large groups.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively to meet meal schedules and adapt to changing needs.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage, handling, and cleaning procedures.
- Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and well-maintained at all times.
Camper and Staff Experience:
- Create a positive dining environment focused on camper happiness and satisfaction.
- Accommodate special dietary needs or allergies with care and professionalism.
Kitchen Maintenance:
- Participate in dishwashing, cleaning, and other maintenance tasks to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
- Monitor and report inventory needs for food and kitchen supplies.
