POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Sports Director, this position supervises groups of children and implements YMCA activities regarding safety and the Rockwall.

HOURS:

Monday - Thursday 5pm - 7pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Leads and participates in group activities. Performs related skills with children ages 8 months to 12 years old.
2. Follows specific YMCA Camp Standard Operating Procedures.
3. (i.e., check-in/out of participants, parent greeting, cleaning and straightening of supplies).
4. Implements program activities and special events.
5. Promotes and embraces Character Development in curriculum.
6. Serves as a positive role model for program participants.
7. Builds and maintains a high standard of member service for all program participants.
8. Promotes safety as an overriding objective in all programming efforts.
9. Builds and maintains a high standard of member service with all members.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
