Member Service Lead

Our Eau Claire South facility is adding a new position to the membership team! This position will work under the Membership Director, and is responsible for providing excellect customer service to members, guests, and staff in person, on the phone, and via email. This position will also aid in various administrative duties, give facility tours, and supervise the facility. The hours of this position are part-time, Monday-Friday, 4pm-9pm.

Duties:

• Perform customer service in person, online, and over-the-phone. (Membership updates, giving tours, program registration, responding to emails, answering/transferring phone calls, providing technical support, etc)
• Acquire a strong understanding for our services and be able to convey effectively to our community members
• Handle conflict and find appropriate resolutions
• Aid Membership Director in any admin duties they may assign
• Aid in onboarding and staff training
• Make regular rounds around the facility throughout shift (interact with members, ensure policies/procedures are being followed, ensure cleanliness, address complaints/concerns, etc)

Qualifications:

• Must be 18
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent knowledge of computers. Ability to learn new software quickly
• Outstanding customer service
• Ability to lead and train others
• Ability to think quickly and handle problems
• Ability to have uncomfortable conversations if needed
