Learning Centers Hiring Specialist:
This position will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission by recruiting, onboarding, and ensuring compliance of all learning center staff. This includes full-time and part-time teachers, food service staff, and any other essential personnel. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of staffing, from hiring and onboarding to maintaining compliance with licensing and certification requirements. Additionally, this role will manage fingerprinting for Minnesota staff and community, helping to create a safe, supportive environment for both staff and children.
- Collects employment requisitions for all job openings from Regional Directors and post them in UKG
- Lead hiring processes for all learning center positions, including full-time and part-time teaching staff, food service staff, and other roles as required.
- Conduct interviews, coordinate candidate selection, and make hiring recommendations in collaboration with program directors and leadership.
- Coordinate comprehensive onboarding for all new hires, including orientation, training, and integration into the team.
- Implement onboarding schedules and materials, ensuring new employees understand their roles, expectations, and the organization’s mission
- Ensure staff adherence to licensing standards and certification requirements across all program areas.
- Track and maintain records of employee certifications, including CPR, First Aid, and any role-specific certifications.
- Oversee the renewal process for employee certifications and licenses to ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
- Serve as the designated staff member trained in fingerprinting services for Minnesota staff and community members.
- Coordinate fingerprinting sessions and manage background checks as part of the pre-employment process.
- Maintain records in compliance with state regulations regarding fingerprinting and background checks.
- Work closely with program directors, and other leaders to assess staffing needs and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Provide ongoing support to staff in understanding and maintaining compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
- Regularly update leadership on hiring progress, compliance status, and any challenges.
1. At least 18 years old AND
2. High School Diploma or GED AND
3. 6 months of related experience

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm
