What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager on Duty (MOD) position at YMCA of the Northern Sky?
Manager on Duty:
- Understands all emergency procedures, acts responsibly during emergencies, and completes appropriate incident reports.
- Is a visible presence at the facility - observing and taking action regarding inappropriate activity within the building, in the parking lots and "green spaces" belonging to the Y.
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service, answering telephone calls, scanning member cards, assisting members and guests with questions, and referring members and guests to the appropriate staff.
- Completes business transactions related to the payment of memberships, programs, services, childcare services, etc. as needed.
- Assists the Member Services Coordinators with initial and ongoing training of team members.
- Assist in opening and/or closing the building.
- Provides security for the YMCA, ensuring the safety of members, guests, and co-workers while at the YMCA.
