Overview
The Mental Health Professional is responsible for overseeing all aspects of mental health and behavioral management of campers and staff. The Mental Health Professional role is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities
- Assist camper with any mental health and behavioral issues that arise as well as check-in and follow up with campers
- Develop camper behavioral plans as needed
- Collaborate with Parent Liaison as needed
- Lead mental health professional development for staff
- Assist staff with alleviating burn out
- Be able to create new mental health initiatives for staff and campers
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s Degree or related field is preferred (or working toward degree)
- Have prior experience working in social work, mental health or related field
- Must have ability to problem solve, observational skills, deescalate crisis situation and be resilient
- Must show enthusiasm, dedication, responsibility and maturity and have excellent communication skills with campers, parents and staff whether in person, over the phone, or via email
