Your Role: As our Program Director II – Wellness & Aquatics, you’ll be at the heart of our health and fitness initiatives. Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3-5 years in a leadership role within wellness or aquatics, with proven success in program management.
• Skills: Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Proficiency in managing budgets and data tracking.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in wellness, fitness, or aquatics.
• Passion: A dedication to promoting health and safety, with a commitment to our core values and mission
• Aquatics: Previous experience in aquatics as a swimmer or a professional
  
  

Essential Functions

What You’ll Do:

Wellness Leadership

• Innovate and Inspire: Develop and oversee wellness programs that support diverse fitness needs and foster a culture of healthy living.
• Program Excellence: Plan and implement engaging wellness activities that meet YMCA standards and cater to all age groups and fitness levels.
• Wellness Advocacy: Promote holistic health and wellness, including nutrition and fitness, to enhance community well-being.
  
  

Aquatics Expertise

• Safety First: Ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in all aquatics programs. Oversee lifeguard and swim instructor training, and maintain certification standards.
• Program Development: Create and manage a dynamic aquatics schedule that includes swim lessons, fitness classes, and community swim events.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and support aquatics staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional service and adhere to safety protocols.
