Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. In preparing food for the children at the daycare. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and dish out the food provided ( no cooking required).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety and sanitation.
- Follow a schedule on when each classroom need their meals.
Skills
- Experience working with children or in a preschool setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is beneficial.
- First aid certification is preferred to ensure safety in the kitchen environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, fostering teamwork within the staff.
