Description
JOB SUMMARY :
The Portfolio Accountant processes and records investment activities accurately and timely to ensure integrity of all investment related reports. Assist in the preparation and timely distribution of all reports related to the Fund's investment activities and holdings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Assist with ensuring that the Fund's financial reporting internal controls are consistently applied and adhered to.
- Assist with maintaining the relationship with the custodian.
- Analyze and compile data from the custodian for use in financial reporting of investment activities.
- Assist with ensuring that quarterly and monthly market values of holdings are updated timely.
- Assist in the recording and reporting of all investment activities.
- Prepare journal entries for investment activities.
- Coordinate portfolio reconciliations of externally managed accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly investment reports.
- Perform account analyses as required.
- Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules for the audited financial statements.
- Prepare SEC Edgar filings.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
