Job Description
Under the direction of the Senior Executive Director, the Associate Branch Executive Director plays a pivotal role in administering the facility and operational functions of the YMCA Branch. In the absence of the Branch Executive Director, this position assumes responsibility for branch leadership, ensuring the successful achievement of both association and branch strategic goals.
This role is essential in fostering a progressive, goal-oriented environment focused on innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. The Associate Branch Executive Director leads the branch's strategic initiatives, ensuring that innovative programming, member engagement, and community involvement remain at the forefront. Additionally, the role emphasizes mentorship and staff development, promoting a high-performing, diverse team culture.
Qualifications
- Progressive, goal-oriented leader focused on innovation and developing a high-performing, cohesive team
- Experience managing multiple departments and overseeing both full and part-time staff
- Strong fundraising and volunteer development experience, successfully securing financial support
- Bachelor's degree in education, health sciences, community development, sports management, or business required
- Minimum of 7-10 years of YMCA management experience managing multiple departments
- At least 5-7 years of fundraising and volunteer development experience, with a proven track record in securing financial support
- Strong skills in program development, financial management, facility management, and staff / volunteer coaching
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with a dedication to service excellence and hospitality
