POSITION SUMMARY :
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Facilities and Maintenance Director ensures assigned facilities are maintained to the highest safety, environmental, and cleanliness standards, while complying with the organization's external / internal health and safety requirements, and State and Federal regulations. In addition, specializes in telecommunications equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance of systems for the association.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Leadership : demonstrate ability to lead and supervise people with integrity, accountability, candor, respect, and professionalism; to develop strong interpersonal relationships; and effectively communicate and motivate.
- Management : demonstrate ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and customer (branches, staff, members, and participants) requirements; to problem solve at a functional level; and to anticipate and develop strategic operational plans.
